How to Lengthen Cell Life

To increase Turbo Cell life expectancy, reduce output to 20% when the water reaches 60º and shut the system down at 50º.   At these low temperatures, the pool needs less chlorine to keep it clean.

When to Inspect and Clean Turbo Cell

Our Hayward Aqua Rite salt chlorination system has a built in reminder to inspect and clean the cell every 500 hrs. If there are water chemistry issues, it is recommended to inspect the cell monthly as mineral deposits may need to be removed from the cell.
